Today's Pet Peeve

How come packaging has gotten worser and worser and harder and harder to open? Makes me furious sometimes. I just want to take a sledge hammer to it. Or am I just getting older and can't open things so well any more? Nah. That's not it. What's with manufacturer's these days? The worst are those hard plastic things around stuff. I hate those.
